the sky of the night clears
after the summer storm
that surrenders to moon rays,
abandoned upon your alluring
crescent moon smile,
resembling our passion,
first a fresh torrent of impulse,
then an ecstasy of peaceful reflection
that you reveal with dazzling pride,
essence of fragrant life
that rests, seduces, contemplates
the moon in the depths of my dreams.
oh, the pulse of a mighty vortex
upon the rock
of the overpowering sea,
you break upon our desires
to belong to each other forever.
envelop me in your love poems,
and I will be a lovestruck seagull,
faithful to your deep sea,
without an end that spies on us,
waiting to strike,
wrapped in its veil of torment.
