No more do we walk along the leafy lanes and in my heart there is a pain.
i miss our walks over the hills, as my friend and companion you were taken very ill.
And on that day the vet took you away your body lifeless my heart broke in every way.
But as i walk now along those paths we used to walk i feel i am not alone ,for your spirit is with me always ,in the breeze that chills me at times i feel your presence close to mine .
For i know we will meet again one day and the
emptyness in my heart will go away ,
for in heaven we will play ,
and once more we will be together everyday.
