Snowflakes, that were falling like feathers,
Without, the slightest sound,
Now look like, a big white duvet,
Spread across, the ground.

With no footsteps, to disturb it,
It looks peaceful, and serene,
And the view, through the window,
Is like, a Picture Postcard Scene.

But inside, things are different,
As the kids, unwrap their toys,
While Mum's preparing, the Christmas dinner,
Coping with, all the bustle, and noise.

Then at the end of a busy day,
The family, all form a choir,
And they sit, and sing, some Christmas Carols,
Around, a big Log Fire.
